Last Christmas I was given a job. Would I re-tell some my favourite folk tales in 60 words each?
I chose my absolute favourite book from when I was very young, The Three Billy Goats Gruff (and that's five words used up for starters, 55 to go). I also chose two stories I read a lot to my children, The Magic Porridge Pot and The Little Red Hen.
Re-telling folk tales in 60 words is one of the most enjoyable jobs I've ever had. When I'd finished, I had three perfect little 60 word stories.
Here are my educational books published so far,
From Oxford University Press:
Cook, Pot, Cook - This is The Magic Porridge Pot in 60 words, and made into a phonic reader.

From QED Eductional:
Josh and the Woo Woo, The Polar Bear Paddle, Ed's Egg and Little Lamb Lost are little stories with notes for parents at the back.
