BIG is probably the best, and simplest, idea I’ve ever had: BIG the bear is too big to fit inside his own book!
BIG tries his best to fit in, waving hello with his big hands, even opening out flaps to reveal legs as long as tree trunks. And eventually, by the end, he finds a way in.
The playful tone in which the reader/viewer is addressed, and the deliciously tactile appearance of bear’s brown fur and his friendly expression, should enchant young children. A delightful book.
Magpies magazine.
a clever, original concept, and a welcome addition to the relatively sparse range of books for babies. Very highly recommended for zero to four year olds.
Sydney’s Child.
the sturdy construction of the book survived a rough road test
